It must sound like we eat a lot of weird stuff. We do experiment in the kitchen quite a bit and I don’t go to the trouble to record ordinary dishes.
This was so good, based on a recipe for Korean Scallion Pancakes.
But I added an extra egg and lots of our homemade kimchi, not just the juices.

One cup of flour
One egg (I used two) ![]()
a half cup of water
kimchi juice

Mixed up to make a batter
little pancakes fried up in the pan
Golden-brown patties
A plate of spicy, savory, garlicky goodness
The dipping sauce really makes it – main ingredient sweet hot red chilli sauce with some black vinegar and a few drop of soy sauce.
Wow! What an interesting recipe! Looks great!
