This is the recipe I didn’t make, it is still in my files of “soups I want to make” I didn’t have the ingredients and I was too tired so we just make a can of Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom and buttered toast. Sigh….
Smoked Habanero Lemon Barley Mushroom Chicken Soup
Bring broth to a boil. Add smoked habanero, celery, carrots, mushrooms, and barley. Reduce to a simmer and allow to cook for 40 minutes. Add chicken, dill, and lemon. simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
Serves 4.
