I have so much fun cooking with her, she is six, and so capable AND enthusiastic. Not particular about any of the steps either, she happily chops and mixes and helps with the compost. I feel lucky to have these moments of joy. Chicken and mushroom and -peas from our garden- rigatoni tonight. Peach crisp for dessert.
We stepped out back to pick raspberries for the crisp too. The back door garden smells of spicy sweet pea blossoms and stargazer lilies blooming. ahhhh heaven…..
