Pesticides are dangerous

Dear ‘neighbor’ – and I use that term because you own the house next door to mine—your lack of consideration for safety makes it look like you don’t give a shit about the poor folk that live in your rental house.

Maybe you are just not informed.

Please, please do not spray poisons where my children and small neighbors are playing. They need to grow and develop their brains and bodies without being poisoned!

The Ontario College of Family Physicians (OCFP) is strongly recommending the public reduce their exposure to pesticides wherever possible, based on the findings of its second comprehensive review of research on the effects of pesticides on human health.  Released today, this review shows associations between pesticide exposure and various neurological and respiratory diseases, as well as reproductive problems. Covering 142 studies, the review also demonstrates that children are particularly vulnerable to pesticide exposures that occur during pregnancy.

Also, box elder bugs should be managed by 1. – sealing up cracks in the dwelling, and 2. a little bit of soap in a 2-gallon sprayer-kills them instantly on contact. Look at this nice one. It would cost you just a few bucks to supply such a thing to your tenants.

It would be great if you would do a little research on herbicides and weed-killers too.
